President Donald Trump was reportedly moved in secret from Air Force One to a smaller military aircraft after US officials received intelligence about what they considered a credible threat linked to Iran.
The unusual security maneuver took place last month as Trump returned from a NATO summit in Türkiye. According to reports, the president was initially seen boarding an older Air Force One aircraft in Ankara before being quietly transferred to another plane.
The operation reportedly relied on a catering truck to conceal Trump’s movement from journalists and others traveling with the presidential delegation.

Television cameras captured Trump boarding the familiar blue-and-white presidential aircraft after leaving the NATO summit in Ankara.
But according to officials familiar with the operation, Trump did not remain on that plane for the flight to Britain.
Instead, the president and a small number of senior aides were reportedly moved through a catering vehicle positioned at another entrance to the aircraft. The vehicle helped shield the transfer from reporters and cameras.
Trump was then taken to a C-32A military aircraft, a Boeing 757-based plane commonly used to transport senior US officials.
The smaller aircraft reportedly flew Trump to RAF Mildenhall in England, while the older Air Force One continued on its planned route.
Journalists traveling with the president apparently remained unaware that Trump had already left the aircraft.
