Saudi Crown Prince Accuses Israel of ‘Collective Genocide’ in Gaza

In a bold and strong condemnation, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has accused Israel of committing “collective genocide” in Gaza. This marks one of his harshest public criticisms of Israel, especially since the ongoing conflict erupted in October 2023.

Speaking at an international summit, Prince Salman called for an immediate halt to Israel’s military actions in Gaza and Lebanon, stressing that the international community has failed to act decisively. He further emphasized the urgent need for Israel to withdraw from both Gaza and the West Bank

The Crown Prince’s remarks reflect growing tensions in the Middle East, where the humanitarian crisis in Gaza has sparked global outcry. With more than 43,000 deaths reported in Gaza and significant casualties among women and children, the Saudi leader’s criticism points to Israel’s conduct as a violation of international human rights standards. Additionally, Saudi officials are pressing for the recognition of Palestine’s statehood as a pathway to peace in the region
